OPSI Systems Trademark Usage Guidelines
The OPSI Systems reputation for providing best of- breed fleet optimization software, related training and support services, and other materials, is embodied in the OPSI Systems trademarks. To preserve its reputation and to protect itself, OPSI Systems guards against any violation of its trademarks. The company acknowledges the desirability of third parties showing affiliation to OPSI Systems (e.g. through the OPSI Systems Unity partner program). Without written permission from OPSI Systems, however, you should not use the company’s trademarks in a manner that suggests or hints at affiliation with, or endorsement by, OPSI Systems. Only parties with written agreements with OPSI Systems are permitted to use OPSI Systems trademarks in accordance with the terms of such agreements.
Trademarks
Trademarks are used in identifying and distinguishing a product, service, program, or company. Trademarks can be expressed in forms such as letters and words, logos, pictures, a combination of words and a logo, slogans, colors, product shapes, and sound. A trademark owner has the exclusive right to use its trademarks in connection with the owner’s relevant products or services and is entitled to prevent others from using its trademarks inappropriately. OPSI Systems’ policy regarding its trademarks
It is OPSI Systems’ policy to enforce its trademark rights against third parties who, without permission, do one or more of the following:
1. Use a OPSI Systems trademark in a manner that is likely to confuse the public about the origin of products, services, materials, courses, or programs;
2. Use a OPSI Systems trademark in a manner that is likely to imply either an affiliation with OPSI Systems or an endorsement by OPSI Systems of specific companies, products, services, materials, courses, or programs;
3. Use a mark confusingly similar to an OPSI Systems trademark;
4. Use an OPSI Systems trademark that is likely to dilute, defame, disparage, or harm the reputation of OPSI Systems.
Guidelines for avoiding infringement
Certain activities to avoid
To ensure that you do not infringe on OPSI Systems’ trademarks rights, the following list describes some specific scenarios to avoid:
• Do not use the OPSI Systems logo or any other OPSI Systems logo on any materials that you create independently
• Do not alter, adapt, modify, animate, or morph any of OPSI Systems trademarks
• Do not use OPSI Systems trademarks in a manner that inaccurately suggests that there is an affiliation with, or endorsement by, OPSI Systems
• Do not use the OPSI Systems name or OPSI Systems trademarks prominently on, or as the visual focal point of, any materials
• Do not use an OPSI Systems trademark in a manner that is likely to dilute or disparage the trademark
