Where is the nearest dealer?

A question that is often asked by customers, and more importantly a question that must be answered by call-centre operators. However, answering such a query may not be that straightforward. It requires knowledge of the dealer locations, and familiarity with the callers address. With this in mind, a call-centre requested an application that allows a user to enter the address of a customer and return the three closest dealers.

The 'Nearest Dealer' application was developed, by OPSI, to solve this problem. A combination of postal code, town, suburb and street can be entered or selected from a list. Once this information has been provided, the application brings up the three closest dealer names, together with their addresses and contact details. In addition, a map that allows the user to view the location of the dealers as well as that of the customer is provided.
