OPSI MOBILE - Mobilizing Your Supply Chain
OPSI Mobile allows you perform a variety of tasks related to your supply chain with a mobile device. OPSI Mobile works via a client-side application on your employee’s cellular devices that communicates with a remote server in order to update your databases in real-time. Since most modern, inexpensive cellular phones can support this technology, equipment costs are kept to a minimum.
Whether you would like to perform real-time stock taking, proof-of-delivery, remote notifications, fuel consumption monitoring, and more, OPSI Mobile can be customized to your specific business requirements. The system is completely open and customizable so that development time is quick – allowing you to be up and running with a powerful application that will save you on data entry and allow you to keep up-to-date regarding the running of your business in real-time, while keeping data centralization as simple as possible.

Applications:
- In-field stock taking: Allows stocktaking jobs to be assigned to various field agents. Each entry contains contact details for that particular job, as well as a table of items. The stock-take is performed on the mobile device, and updated on the server when the stock-take is completed.
- Fuel monitoring: Allows for the tracking of fuel dispensation at any fuel depot. Vehicle, fuel-tank and driver data is entered into a central database and this data can then be accessed from the fuel attendant’s mobile device in order to enter the details for a fuel transaction.
- Managing courier collections: When couriers are in the field they need to be in constant touch with the office to update their status, change their routes, indicate their availibility and stay on top of their workload. With OPSI Mobile, we can track the locations of the couriers based on the cell phone tower they are reporting to, update their status, assign new jobs and dynamically keep track of the work they have done.
