Clover Selects OPSI Systems to Power Primary Distribution, Transportation Management and Information Systems
Johannesburg, South Arica, November 15, 2004: Clover, the South African leader in dairy products and technology, has selected OPSI Systems' technology to power their primary distribution, transportation management, and information systems.
Earlier in the year, Clover put out a tender to all of the leading logistics technology providers. After a lengthy and in-depth selection process, Clover decided on OPSI systems. Considerations in selection included the sophistication of the technology, the ability to customize the technology to Clover's specific requirements, the openness and flexibility of the technology, the quickness in implementing the technology, and the responsiveness and stability of the technology provider. OPSI systems was selected based on these criteria and was determined to be the leader in all areas of logistics technology during the selection process.
This ground-breaking project for both companies will combine the scheduling of vehicles, tendering to hauliers, web interfaces, GPS tracking and more. For the project, OPSI Systems will also be handling all of the integration and development.
