OPSI does its Bit for CANSA

OPSI recently took part in the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA)'s annual Shavathon in support of those fighting cancer.

Johannesburg, March 05: OPSI Systems head office, in support of the Cancer Association of South Africa's (CANSA) annual Shavathon event, saw their employees dye and shave their hair in solidarity with those battling cancer.

The Shavathon involves people shaving or colouring their head in solidarity with cancer survivors or to remember those who have fallen to the disease. All proceeds from the Shavathon are used to bolster and improve cancer prevention programmes and patient care services aimed at combating cancer.

With Tim Mitchell relinquishing his regular duties for the day to serve as the resident barber, everyone got a closer shave than they're used to, while Jaci Sack assisted those looking to add some colour to their hair.

The Shavathon was well supported within OPSI Systems. "We're always up for a fun time, and if it's combined with a worthy cause, all the better," says David Lubinsky, managing director of OPSI Systems.
