Value Logistics Warehouse

Value Logistics started out as a truck rental company, and eventually grew to be positioned us as one of the largest and most comprehensive transport and logistics companies in South Africa.

Short Case Overview:

Value Logistics runs a network of multi-principle warehouses. Value Logistics Warehouse went live with FLO in February, 2005 in their Johannesburg warehouse located in Elandsfontein, where 124 trucks are scheduled and routed daily. In addition, country-wide scheduling and routing for all five of their depots spread throughout South Africa is run out of this Johannesburg location. Over the next year, the Durban and Cape Town branches plan to run FLO for their own scheduling and routing. According to Johan Kruger, the Planning / FLO Supervisor for Value Logistics Warehouse, “News from the hub (floor) is that they can not work without FLO.”
