Natro Freight
Natro Freight (Pty) Ltd is a third party logistics provider specializing in the transport of abnormal loads. Natro has vehicle depots and warehouses placed around the country, and serves clients throughout Southern Africa.
Natro is currently in the last stages of implementing Plato within their Fuel and Chemicals division. Natro provides services to both the fuel & chemical industry and the mining industry, including clients such as Sasol and Anglo Platinum. Plato will allow Natro to optimize the routes and schedules of their in-house vehicles alongside their sub-contracted vehicles.
By automating the accounts receivable and payable processes, the Plato implementation will contribute to a significant reduction in Natro staff hours on a daily basis.
The accounts receivable and payable will automatically be pushed into Natro's accounting software allowing for the relevant documents to be generated.
Once the implementation of Plato into Natro's Fuel and Chemicals division is complete, Plato will be implemented throughout Natro's entire fleet , handling the scheduling and routing of over 300 Natro vehicles along with hundreds more of their sub-contractors. Currently, Natro's vehicles are scheduled manually from Natro's depots around the country. With the implementation of Plato, Natro will route and schedule all of their vehicles from a central depot in Gauteng - freeing up manpower around the county to focus on operations.
GPS Web integration
A key aspect of the implementation is the Plato client web page, which allows Natro’s clients to log into a secure web page and view the current status of their shipments based on the latest GPS data.
