Deon van Zyl began working for OPSI Systems in May, 2007. Deon has advanced degrees in biochemistry and computer science from the University of the Witwatersrand. Management Team
 

OPSI Systems was founded in 1994 by David Lubinsky.

The members of OPSI Systems' management team are listed below:

David Lubinsky
David Lubinsky holds a PhD in Computer Science from Rutgers University and a Masters Degree in Statistics from the University of the Witwatersrand. David worked at Bell labs for four years before returning to South Africa in 1992 to join the Computer Science department at Wits. In 1995 David was promoted to associate professor. He left the full-time staff of Wits in 1997 but he still teachers part-time and supervises a number of graduate students at the university. David is the managing director of OPSI Systems.

 


Sean Aspoas
Sean Aspoas holds a masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of the Witwatersrand. Sean has extensive experience in mathematical modeling and simulation. Sean heads up OPSI's implementation and consulting divisions.

 


David Clark
David Clark holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of the Witwatersrand. His Masters research explored algorithms for scheduling overhead cranes to minimize the conflict between them. David heads up OPSI's operations and is intricately involved in development of all products.

 


Paul Baker
Paul Baker holds an Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town. Paul was instrumental in the design and development of the highly successful CoroCAM (daylight corona detection camera) for the CSIR. Paul heads the development team and is the chief architect of both FLO and PLATO.

 


Glenn Brown
Glenn Brown holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is the chief developer of the CBASS system, and co-developer of PACE. Glenn is currently the director of OPSI's Australian office in Sydney.

 


Sam Nudelman
Sam Nudelman, MBBCh (University of the Witwatersrand), has experience in business development in a variety of industries. Before joining OPSI Systems, Sam ran a number of enterprises in the areas of health care, inventory and property. Sam heads the international sales and marketing division for OPSI systems.
